    Updated Participant Manual
    The updated CERT Basic Training Manual is here! It features a revised Disaster Medical Operations section, updated Terrorism and CERT section, and new hazard-specific annexes..
    Preparedness Guide
    A FEMA guide is available to help you learn how to protect yourself and your families against all types of hazards.
    • It can be used as a reference source or as a step-by-step manual.
    • The focus of the content is on how to develop, practice, and maintain emergency plans that reflect what must be done before, during, and after a disaster to protect people and their property.

    Crime Trends & K9 Demo
    Sheriff Hofmann gave a presentation on Opioids and Current Crime Trends along with a K-9 demo at Symphony Village on October 12, 2021 at 5:00 pm.

    CERT Social Hour

    The SV CERT hosted the Social Hour on Friday, July 5, 2019.
    Stop the Bleed

    The Board of Directors approved the purchase on a Premium 'Stop the Bleed' kit for the Clubhouse.

    It was delivered on August 29 and is located with the First Aid Kit in the Gym (see photo).
    EOC Tour

    A tour of the QAC Emergency Operations Center (EOC) was conducted on August 14, 2018. There were 17 SV attendees.

    There is a new vehicle for CERT use courtesy of a grant from Maryland.
    Homeowner Reference

    A Homeowners Emergency Reference was added to the Homeowners page. It is a PDF file containing useful information to prepare for and to use during an emergency.
