Town of Centreville Street Treatment

Greetings Symphony Village Residents,

This is a friendly reminder that the Town of Centreville is responsible for clearing and treating streets within the community, while Queen Anne’s County is responsible for Taylor Mill Road.

Management has been in regular communication with the Town of Centreville Department of Public Works (DPW) regarding the winter storm. Please be assured that Town crews will continue salting streets in Symphony Village and throughout the Town of Centreville.

The most recent update received from DPW earlier today is as follows:

We are continuing to spread salt on all streets in town, including Symphony Village. The entire town was treated by 8:30 p.m. last night, and we are following the same plan until conditions improve. With overnight temperatures dropping below the effective range of salt (approximately 25 degrees), some refreezing may still occur despite ongoing treatment.

For additional information regarding the Town of Centreville Streets Division snow removal operations and DPW contact details, please visit: https://www.townofcentreville.org/publicworks/page/streets-division-snow-removal

Thank you for your attention and continued patience.

Sincerely,

Symphony Village HOA Management
