Management, the Board, and the contractor understand that residents are still seeing the impacts of this storm and the inconvenience the winter weather may be causing. Please be assured that the Association’s contractor, Chester River Landscaping, is doing everything possible to provide safe and efficient access to all driveways and homes throughout the community and will continue working toward full access as conditions allow.

This storm has been particularly challenging due to freezing rain and sustained frigid temperatures, especially in areas that receive little to no sunlight. In those locations, due to the rock-solid ice, the contractor's approach is:

Apply ice melt, allow time for it to work, remove as much ice and slush as possible, and repeat.

Please do not be surprised if the contractor revisits your driveway and/or lead walk multiple times, particularly if the area does not receive much sun. If neighboring homes that receive more winter sunlight appear clear, please know that your home was not missed—it may simply require a different removal/treatment approach.

The contractor will continue efforts to mitigate ice on residential driveways and leadwalks, as well as at the Clubhouse, throughout the day and will likely return tomorrow to continue the efforts. Your continued patience and understanding are truly appreciated.
