Town of Centreville Crosswalk Installation – CANCELED
Greetings Symphony Village Residents,
The crosswalk installation scheduled for today, Monday, November 24, has been indefinitely postponed. This cancelation is due to miscommunication among the Town of Centreville staff.
The Town of Centreville provided the following update:
“The Town is in the process of developing a comprehensive, town-wide priority list to determine where new crosswalks are most urgently needed. This list will help guide the order in which future installations occur. Because this evaluation is still underway, the Town is unable to provide a specific timeline for when the Symphony Village crosswalks—or others on the list—will be completed.
We understand that residents may have been anticipating this work, and we apologize for any inconvenience the error may cause. The Town remains committed to improving pedestrian safety and will share updates as soon as more information becomes available.”
