Upcoming Art Show - Calling All Artists
CALLING ALL ARTISTS
The art show will change at the end of this month and, as always, we invite all residents of Symphony Village to enter their work. In addition to the show's specific challenge all topics are welcome and can include any media that can hang on the wall, or fit in one of the cabinets.
The challenge for the upcoming show is monochrome. In other words, one color that has white blended with it to create different shades. As an example, the painting above started with navy blue and white (artist unknown). This can also include black and white photography or photographs that have been edited to a particular monotone.
To place an entry into the show it must be delivered to the concert hall on Thursday, October 30th between 10am and noon. If you have never entered a show and have questions, reach out to Pat Glaunert at 336-406-0443 by phone or text.
The opening reception will be:
Sunday, November 2nd
4 - 6pm
