Several Lunch Brunch friends suggested that we schedule a lunch event at the Suicide Bridge Restaurant located on the Choptank River at 6304 Suicide Bridge Road in Hurlock, Maryland. Some of you may remember having lunch at this location 10 or 12 years ago. The setting is quite beautiful and serene.

The restaurant gets its name from the original wooden bridge structure built in 1888. The bridge was rebuilt in 2005. The Legend of Suicide Bridge is available on the Suicide Bridge Restaurant Website along with The Ballad of Suicide Bridge by Glenn Whaley. 

We have a reservation at the Suicide Bridge Restaurant on Thursday, August 14 at 12:30 p.m. You can learn more about the history of this interesting location at https://www.suicidebridge.com. While you are looking through the website, find the menu and spend some time reading through the extensive assortment of food choices available. The Choptank Riverboat Company adjacent to the restaurant offers both public and private cruises from April through December.
