Greetings Symphony Village Residents:

Thank you to all of the volunteer pool operators, both past and present, for their assistance in monitoring the pools and spa. Your volunteerism helps to keep the cost of the pool maintenance contract down and offers a piece of mind to those using the pool and spa. We are looking for some new volunteers. 

This is not a complex or involved task. It is really, rather easy, but very important to the state of the pool and spa. The primary responsibility of the pool operators is to take chemical readings on weekends and holidays. The chemicals themselves are added by an automatic feeder, so no worries there. When it comes to volunteer pool operators, the more certified volunteers there are, the fewer the dates each volunteer will be asked to cover.

The Association’s contractor, Anchor Aquatics, will be holding a Pool Operator Certification Course online or in person at the clubhouse on Wednesday, February 5 from 11 am to 2 pm and in person at the clubhouse on Thursday, February 6 from 11 am to 2 pm. Both course dates will need to be completed to become certified.

If you use the pools and/or spa, becoming an operator is a great education.
