Green Thumb Industries (GTI), which operates the cannabis growth and production plant on Comet Drive, will visit Symphony Village this evening, Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 7 pm. They will update us on the odor control/elimination equipment they promised the Centreville Town Council (and the community) would be installed in the building. This equipment was turned on several weeks ago.

Many Villagers smelled the skunk-like odor which was often based on the direction the wind was blowing. Please take note of current conditions and whether you still smell the odor. Try to compare it with your past experiences so we can help determine if they have been successful so far with at least the building controls.

The true determination of their odor mitigation plan will be more evident at the end of August, through the fall, when historically the odors have been at their worst.

GTI will be asked to explain their process, answer your questions, and listen to your comments and concerns.
