Introducing the…. Symphony Village Performing Arts Group Symphony Village is a wonderful place to live and play. But wait. Somethings missing? You know we have a great arts guild, but do we have LIVE art? I know, you’re sitting back….life is good, but why not make it outstanding by getting into the action! Live Theater; Have you ever acted in a high school or college play? Or wished you had? We’re looking for folks who can remember a line or two and then appear in one-act plays, right in the concert hall. Really? Theater in the round. And always for free! Wow! Pop-up Skits: Have you a wild streak that allows for organized bedlam for fun and enrichment? Vocals: Can you hold a tune? Ever sing in a chorale, glee club, or chorus? Some of the one-act plays and pop-up skits will require vocals, and maybe some dancing. Flash Mobs: Oh ya, we plan to startle any number of venues with pop-up musical renditions to everyone’s delight, as we did at last year’s end-of-season softball picnic at the pavilion. Musicians: Can you play a musical instrument? What a treat it would be to get an ensemble together to work the plays, the skits, and the pop-up singers. Rusty/ We don’t care. Just come on out. Props, scene design, wardrobe, make-up, etc.; can’t act, sing, dance, or play the violin? Who cares; just come on out and see where you can get excited. The attached form allows you to fill in your area of interest. Please check wherever applicable (more than one is great). Print the form out and drop it in the white box in the Wall St room in the clubhouse, or drop it off at Norm’s, 218 Harmony Way. If enough interest is shown, a special Kick-off meeting will be held, for all, with champagne. And then it will start. More fun than the law allows!
