Symphony Village Residents, A turf treatment application is scheduled for Monday, March 11, Tuesday, March 12, and Wednesday, March 13, weather permitting. This is the first turf treatment application in 2024 and will contain post-emergent weed treatment targeting broadleaf weeds, pre-emergent targeting crabgrass and other annual grasses and weeds, and nitrogen fertilizer. The application will be completed over a three (3) day period. Application zones outlined in blue, red, and yellow on the map below correspond with each of the three (3) days. The application of the treatment will be completed in one (1) zone each day and is tentatively scheduled as follows:
Monday, March 11 – Red Section Tuesday, March 12 – Blue Section Wednesday, March 13 – Yellow Section Thursday, March 14 – RAIN DATE Please note that the crews may complete one zone ahead of schedule and proceed to the next applicable zone during the treatment. The treatment sections were amended in 2022 with pet owners in mind. The new sections allow for easy access to untreated areas until the product is fully absorbed. A small yellow marker will be placed in the areas that have been treated. If you do not see a marker directly in front of your home, please look at the surrounding houses. Markers are to be placed in clear view every 4 to 5 homes. The yellow markers will have the date of application noted on the back. Treatment should be fully absorbed in usually 2-3 hours once the spray has dried. Level Green Landscaping (LGL) will also keep wind speed in mind to ensure conditions are suitable for applying the liquid treatment. The application will be completed using specialized equipment to avoid overspray while broadcasting consistently over the targeted turf areas. The machine will produce long-lasting foam marks to keep track of the areas that have been sprayed, the foam will dissolve after a few minutes. This foam will not burn the turf.
