Karen Patterson and Amy Landen, Co-Chairpersons, want to extend our warmest gratitude to everyone who shared their energy, time, and talents to make this year’s Night of Lights and Soup Supper so successful. It truly took a village of volunteers – and how we love our Village! We live among some of the most generous and supportive people we have ever known. You all certainly proved that again. The atmosphere of holiday joy was felt throughout the Clubhouse.

We developed a group of volunteer Captains to head individual teams to organize this event. We depended on these Captains to establish their team and fulfill their assigned duties with our supervision when necessary. We would like to acknowledge and personally thank these Captains and their teams for a job well done:

Signup Book & Servers Captain: Marie Bossie

Setup Captain: Norm Bossie

Table Decorating Captain: Kathy Rambo

Greeter Captains: Annette and Steve Nelson

Signs Captains: Rosemary Rosenberger and Cele Zerhusen

Salads Captains: Jenny Gallo and Anne Marie Mason

Dessert Captain: Diana Herring

Bread & Butter Captain: Charlotte Godfrey

Kitchen & Beverages Captain: Barbara Ackerman

Night of Lights Activity Captain: Ed Beres

Night of Lights Snack Captain: Teresa Athas

Bar Captains: Skip Kornmeyer and Donna Donaldson

Cleanup Captain: Kateri Coombe

We would also like to thank all our resident soup and dessert makers for the variety of delicious soups and desserts provided. For taking the time to make your special/favorite recipe to share. It was so appreciated by all who attended.

Also thank you to the Queen Anne’s Chorale for leading us all in Christmas Carols.

Thank you seems inadequate. We appreciate you, more than you know. Karen and I were amazed at how every piece of creating the fantastic evening worked perfectly. It is because of you and your teams – that everyone who attended enjoyed an evening of Holiday Joy! We extend our humble gratitude to each of you.

With gratitude,

Karen and Amy
