It’s time!!! Time for what? TIME TO VOTE ON THE PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE ASSOCIATION'S GOVERNING DOCUMENTS!!!

A special hybrid meeting of the Association is scheduled for Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. The special meeting will be held virtually on Zoom and in-person at the Symphony Village Clubhouse (100 Symphony Way, Centreville, Maryland). The purpose of this meeting is to vote on the proposed amendments to the Articles of Incorporation, Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions and Bylaws (together “Governing Documents”).

A hardcopy mailer including a Message from the Board, Special Meeting Notice, Executive Summary, Proxy Ballot and redlined drafts of the proposed amendments to the Governing Documents were mailed to all homeowners, as required. If you do not receive your mailer this week, please contact the Management Office.

The proposed amendments to the Governing Documents are the result of a lengthy effort by the Board and Community to update and improve the governance of the Association. For more information about the proposed amendments, your Governing Documents and the voting process, please click here.

Why is your participation important? Approval of the proposed document amendments requires the affirmative vote of at least 60% or 237 households in the Association. As such, your participation is critical and early voting is encouraged. The document for voting on the proposed amendments, the Proxy Ballot, are now being accepted!

What does the Association need from each household? Each household is kindly asked to complete and return the three (3) page Proxy Ballot provided in your voting package. Please check your mailbox this afternoon or click here to view and download the Proxy Ballot.

Please return the completed Proxy Ballot to the Management Office at your earliest convenience but no later than 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. This is a reminder that there is only one (1) vote per household.
