About 6:40pm this evening, a resident reported that someone tried to enter their Symphony Village house by attempting to open a locked rear door (after opening the storm door). Centreville and QA County police both responded when called.

Police will be doing extra surveilance in the neighborhood this evening. They advised residents to lock doors, close shades and consider turning on outside lighting.
