Greetings Symphony Village Residents,

At their Board meeting on Friday, June 4th, the Board of Directors voted to approve a minor revision to the Pool Rules and Regulations. This revision changes the opening time to 5:00 a.m.

The revision is taking place because the Clubhouse acts as the pool barrier needed to adhere to code. Therefore, the pool hours must be the same.

CLUBHOUSE

POOL RULES FOR ENFORCEMENT FOR INDOOR, OUTDOOR AND PATIO AREA

Approved by the Board June 4, 2021

Effective June 4, 2021

  1. The pools are open to qualified 19 year or older residents for the indoor pool from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. for the outdoor pool.

 

  1. NOTE: The outdoor pool will be opened to all guests, all day from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on the following holidays: Memorial Day, Father’s Day, July 4th and Labor Day or community sponsored events.

 

  1. Children and guests under age 19 may use the pool from 11:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. daily when accompanied by a resident.

 

  1. Smoking is not permitted in the pool area, including electric cigarettes.

 

  1. All residents and guests are required to pick-up after themselves and dispose of trash and debris in the appropriate containers.

 

  1. Glass is prohibited in the pool areas at all times, no exceptions.

 

  1. Pool rafts, tubes, balls, Frisbees, etc. are not permitted in the pool. Pool volleyball may be played -- using a beach ball only – if the games are formally sponsored by the Lifestyle Committee and included on the SV Master Calendar.

 

  1. Diving and jumping in the pool are prohibited.

 

  1. Swimsuits are required in the pool. Wet suits are not permitted in the Clubhouse, except for the locker rooms. Uncovered swimsuits are not permitted in the Clubhouse.

 

  1. The pool may be closed at any time due to inclement weather (thunder, lighting etc.) breakdown of equipment, operational defects or avoidable causes as seen necessary by Management.

 

  1. No food or drinking is allowed within 4 feet of the edge of the pool.

 

  1. Any person using an umbrella must close and secure the umbrella before leaving the pool area.

 

  1. No private parties are allowed at pool area.

 

  1. No catered event in the pool area, except for a community-wide event.

 

  1. Guests of Residents using the Pavilion for parties are not permitted the use of the pool. Guests are only allowed use of the bathroom facilities while at the Pavilion and must be accompanied by a resident.

 

  1. Children’s parties are not permitted in or around the pool area.

 

  1. Residents who bring children to the pool must be on the pool deck supervising the child in the pool at all times and if the child is a non-swimmer (even if they are wearing flotation swimmies) the resident or a parent must be in the pool with the child. No child can be left on the pool deck unsupervised at any time.

                                                                       

  1. NO CHILD IS ALLOWED NEAR THE BAR IN THE CLUBHOUSE.

 

  1. All electronic devices including radios and CD players, etc. are not permitted in the pool and must be kept a minimum of 4 feet from the edge of the pool. The volume of any device should not disturb others.

 

  1. Outdoor furniture may not be reserved for persons who leave the pool area or who ae expected to arrive later.

 

  1. Persons with open sores or lesions are not permitted to use the pool.

 

  1. Persons using the pool must shower before entering the pool.

 

  1. No guest under the age of 19 is permitted in the spa.

Consequences for not adhering to the above rules are:

  1. Loss of use of the Clubhouse Amenities
  2. Potential for police involvement
