Symphony Village Residents,

You might notice that our Website’s Home Page has a fresh look to it. Since it was created, the Website has strived to communicate timely and accurate information to our residents. Over the years, the Website has grown in size and complexity and is at the point that it needs a redesign.

The primary goal of the redesign is to streamline information that residents should be aware of and make the information easy to find. A second goal is to organize the Website’s infrastructure so that it can be supported more effectively.

The redesign will be completed in phases. The first phase, rolled out this morning, resulted in the current Home Page being replaced. All of the information that was on the old Home Page will still be on the new Home Page. The key change is that some of the information will now be in the body of the webpage in the following sections:

• Important SV Forms & Deadlines
• Current and Upcoming SV Events
• Local Happenings and Information
• Committee and Community Program Information

In addition to the above changes, you might also notice some other changes that include:

• Artisan’s Guild Webpage – This new webpage will contain slideshows of current and past art shows as well as other information about the Artisan’s Guild. The 2021 Winter Art Show, which commenced on December 31, 2020, is featured in a slideshow.
• Publications and Communications Committee Webpage - This webpage has been redesigned for easier reading. Forms on the webpage have been replaced with buttons that will automatically launch the appropriate form when clicked.
• Symphony Village Photos – Photos of the many events and happenings have been reorganized for easier viewing. Clicking on the Gallery link on the Website’s Sidebar will show slideshows of events that occurred from 2018 – 2020. For photos from previous years, click on the Index link on the Website’s Sidebar and look under Photos.

The next phases of the Website’s redesign will be gradually introduced throughout 2021. Webpages will be redesigned to meet the objective of being easier to read and easy to find. One enhancement that we hope to add in 2021 is a New Resident’s webpage that will help them acclimate to our wonderful community.
