Air Sample Testing - Monday, September 29
Please be aware that there will be air sample equipment on-site on Monday.
As you may know, Green Thumb Industries (GTI) operates a production facility in Centreville and recently worked with the Town to reach a Public Works Agreement (PWA) related to odor issues on-site.
As part of that PWA, GTI has been asked by the Town to conduct one, air sampling test near Symphony Village.
This test will take place on Monday, September 29 and will require GTI to set up air sampling equipment on the sidewalk outside of the facility for a few hours. Most likely along Symphony Boulevard and Taylor Mill Road.
The test will be non-invasive.
Below is a picture of the equipment the testing company will be using. The area circled in red is the testing equipment (clear tube and small blue box). The larger piece of metal equipment in the attached photo is an exhaust fan from a facility that was being tested when the picture was taken and is not part of the testing company's air sampling equipment.
