Members of the Covenants Committee and the Paint Team have developed two newly proposed paint books. The current paint color binder is used to assist homeowners in selecting or matching door and shutter colors.

The new books are intended to help homeowners choose aesthetically pleasing paint colors for doors, shutters, foundations, and even siding, while conforming to the existing design standards established within the community.

Residents are encouraged to review the proposed books and provide feedback before an initial vote is taken by the Covenants Committee at their June 11 meeting. The books will be available for review during business hours at the HOA Management desk through June 7. Please stop by, browse at your leisure, and take a comment card from the front of a book. Once completed, place your comment card in the envelope provided in the appropriate book.

The two proposed books are:

1. Proposed Update to the “Front Entry Doors and Shutters Exterior Paint Colors Book”
   This update to the 2019 edition includes three new colors for shutters and doors, and twelve new colors for doors only. It also features a page of frequently asked questions (FAQs).
2. New “Siding Colors and Foundation Paint Colors Book”
   This book includes samples of various siding colors found in the community along with matching paint colors for foundations. The design standard requires that foundation colors match the siding color. This book serves two purposes:
   • It may help residents identify the name and manufacturer of their siding.
   • It provides color chips or paint formulas for foundations that match the siding.

If the books are approved by the Covenants Committee on June 11, they will be forwarded to the Board of Directors for consideration. If approved by both the Covenants Committee and the Board, the updated books will be used as guidelines for future exterior modification form requests.
