The Artisan’s Guild opening reception for the Art Show Sunday, May 4th, 4 - 6pm
The show will be hung on Thursday, May 1st and the opening reception will be Sunday, May 4th. As always, entries are accepted from all Symphony Village residents.
Entries may be in any category but the May show also includes a challenge; which is to create a piece of work that is inspired by Picasso’s cubism style.
If you want to step up to the challenge but don’t know where to start, you might consider watching this 30-minute YouTube created by MoMA (Museum of Modern Art). It is a fascinating eye-opener into what to look for and how to create in this style. Even if you don’t want to create, watching just 15 minutes of it might enlighten you on how to view our creations in August.
