Dear Symphony Village HOA Residents,

This is a reminder that due to the recent resignation of Mary Jo Keefe Volpicelli effective April 29, 2025, one (1) position on the Board of Directors will be open. Pursuant to the Articles of Incorporation of the Symphony Village Homeowners Association of Centreville, Inc., a vacancy on the Board of Directors will be filled by special election at a Special Meeting of the Members. A Director elected in this process will serve the remainder of the original term, which, in this case, is until December 2026.

A Special Meeting of the Members to elect a new Board Member will be held on June 4, 2025, immediately following the Board of Directors meeting. Please note that the Board of Directors meeting has been rescheduled to 6:00 p.m. the same day.

CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

This serves as the formal “Call for Nominations” for one (1) new Director to fill the upcoming vacancy.

A homeowner may nominate themselves or another homeowner. All nominations will be kept private until all candidates have been contacted and validated.

Nominations must be submitted by 4:00 pm on Friday, April 11, 2025.

Nominees will be contacted to confirm interest following the April 11, 2025 deadline and asked to complete a Candidate Information Form by April 23, 2025. These forms will be shared with the community, along with details about the Special Meeting, absentee proxy, and ballot.

The special election will not impact the December 2025 elections, when three (3) Board terms expire. Those elected in December will serve two (2) years.
