Symphony Village Residents,
A turf treatment application is scheduled for Monday, March 24, Tuesday, March 25, and Wednesday, March 26 weather permitting. This will be the first turf treatment application of 2025 and will include post-emergent weed treatment targeting broadleaf weeds, pre-emergent treatment for crabgrass and other annual grasses and weeds, and nitrogen fertilizer.
The liquid application will be completed over a three (3) day period. Application zones outlined in blue, red, and yellow on the map below correspond with each of the three (3) days. The application of the treatment is scheduled to be completed in one (1) zone each day as follows:
Monday, March 24 – Red Section
Tuesday, March 25 – Blue Section
Wednesday, March 26 – Yellow Section
Thursday, March 14 – RAIN DATE
Please note that the crew(s) may complete one zone ahead of schedule and proceed to the next applicable zone during the treatment.
***IMPORTANT: NEW THIS YEAR***
Level Green Landscaping (LGL) have added a non-toxic, water-soluble temporary blue tint to the combined liquid turf treatment, which includes the pre-emergent, post-emergent, and nitrogen fertilizer. The temporary tint will give the treatment a blue color, which will transfer onto the turf and serve as visual confirmation of the application, benefiting both residents and the applicator.
The temporary blue tint will help ensure all areas are addressed during the application process and provide residents with assurance that the service has been completed in their area. The tint should be noticeable on the treated turf for about a day following the application and will dissipate with rain, morning dew, irrigation, and sunlight exposure.
The liquid treatment, including the added temporary tint, should dry in approximately 2-3 hours from the time of application. The temporary tint is labeled as non-toxic, water-soluble and will not cause permanent staining.
LGL will also place a small yellow marker in the areas that have been treated. If you do not see a marker directly in front of your home, please look at the surrounding houses. Markers are to be placed in clear view every 4 to 5 homes. The yellow markers will have the date of application noted on the back. The pre-emergent, post-emergent, and nitrogen fertilizer should be fully absorbed in 48-72 hours following application.
The contractor will keep wind speed in mind to ensure conditions are suitable for applying the liquid treatment. The application will be completed using specialized equipment to avoid overspray while broadcasting consistently over the targeted turf areas.
Chemical Information Sheets are available to residents upon request. Please contact the Management Office by phone at 410-758-8500, email at tsarris@PROTECTED, or in person at the Clubhouse with any questions or to request a copy.
The dates above are pending weather conditions. Notice will be sent for any scheduling changes.
Thank you for your attention,
