Dear Symphony Village HOA Residents,
At the December 2, 2024 Special Meeting of the Members an amendment to the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions increasing the amount of the Initial Capital Contribution was approved. The amendment was recorded in the Maryland Land Records on January 23, 2024 and is now in effect.

As a reminder, the amendment increases the Capital Contribution paid by those buying a house in the community from $750 to 12x the amount of the current monthly assessment. This is not additional money current owners will have to pay.
Increasing the amount of the Initial Capital Contribution was a proactive approach taken by the 2024 Board of Directors to help supplement the Association’s financials for years to come and protect the aging infrastructure. The additional funds are intended to help maintain the value of the community for the benefit of all owners.
