The Management Office will be closed today, Friday, January 19 due to inclement weather.

The snowfall is being monitored frequently and consistently by the Board and the General Manager. Several key points to keep in mind related to snow removal efforts are as follows:

• Sidewalks, driveways and asphalt may become slick or icy in some spots. Please proceed with caution when walking or driving in the community. Please refrain from using the Clubhouse until the sidewalks and parking lot are cleared.

• The snow removal contractor is generally dispatched when snow accumulation exceeds 3 inches on hard surfaces or with Board approval. In most cases, the removal will not begin until after the winter precipitation has stopped.

• If snow removal efforts are initiated, the contractor will start at the Clubhouse and then service residential driveways and walkways leading from the front door to the driveway.

• The common area sidewalks are not included in the current snow removal contract.

• The Town of Centreville is responsible for clearing all streets within the community.

• An eBlast will be sent to update residents regarding any snow removal efforts authorized by the Board.

The Board is tasked with the financial health of the HOA, which must be taken into consideration when making a decision regarding snow removal efforts. Please note that Management, the Board and the snow removal contractor (when mobilized)  work diligently to service all homes as safely and efficiently as possible.
