Indoor Pool Notice
Symphony Village Residents,
Earlier this year the Board of Directors approved the replacement of the evaporator coil in the indoor pool dehumidification/HVAC system. The replacement was approved because the coil is nearing the end of its useful life and has a leak. The evaporation coil is a specialty part and a major component of the indoor pool dehumidification/HVAC system.
The Association's HVAC contractor, Northern Bay Environmental Services, is scheduled to begin replacing the evaporation coil on Monday, September 25. The work is expected to be completed no later than Friday, September 29.
While the work is being completed (Monday, September 25 - Friday, September 29) the dehumidification/HVAC system will be OFF and the indoor pool environment may feel less comfortable. The temperature in the enclosure will fluctuate with the outdoor temperature and will feel “stuffier”.
The screen doors will be opened by staff during the day whenever temperatures are suitable to help ventilate the enclosure. If you are using the pool before 8:00 a.m. or after 4:00 p.m. and open the screen doors, please be sure to close them before leaving the pool area.
