As you may be aware the Board of Directors recently approved a proposal from Chamberlain Contractors to mill, repave, and restripe the asphalt parking lots on both sides of the Clubhouse. The contractor will also replace portions of the concrete curbing around the parking lots as part of the approved project. PORTIONS OF THE CLUBHOUSE PARKING LOTS WILL NOT BE ACCESSIBLE ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 25, AND SATURDAY, AUGUST 26 FOR CONCRETE CURBING REPLACEMENT. THESE AREAS WILL BE MARKED AND BLOCKED OFF BY THE CONTRACTOR PRIOR TO THE START OF WORK. THE CLUBHOUSE PARKING LOTS ON THE RIGHT AND LEFT SIDE OF THE BUILDING WILL BE CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC STARTING SUNDAY, AUGUST 27 through SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 2 ALL VEHICLES MUST BE REMOVED FROM THE CLUBHOUSE PARKING LOTS BY 6:00 PM ON SUNDAY, AUGUST 27 (Any remaining vehicles may be subject to towing at the owner's expense) PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE OR RELOCATE ANY CONES, BARRICADES, OR SIGNAGE PLACED PRIOR TO, DURING, OR AFTER THE WORK IS COMPLETED. THE CLUBHOUSE WILL REMAIN OPEN AND ALL REGULARLY SCHEDULED ACTIVITIES IN THE CLUBHOUSE CAN CONTINUE DURING THE PARKING LOT CLOSURE. OWNERS ARE ASKED TO PARK ON THE SURROUNDING STREETS AND ACCESS THE BUILDING USING THE SIDEWALKS ON THE DATES ABOVE. PLEASE BE MINDFUL NOT TO BLOCK DRIVEWAYS, OR STOP SIGNS OR IMPEDE VISIBILITY AT INTERSECTIONS WHEN PARKING ON THE STREETS. THE FIRE/DROP-OFF LANE IN FRONT OF THE MAIN ENTRANCE TO THE CLUBHOUSE WILL REMAIN OPEN AND ACCESSIBLE DURING THE PARKING LOT CLOSURE. RESIDENTS AND GUESTS WITH LIMITED MOBILITY CAN STILL BE DROPPED OFF IN FRONT OF THE MAIN ENTRANCE WHILE THE PARKING LOTS ARE CLOSED. PARKING IN THE FIRE/DROP-OFF LANE IS NOT PERMITTED AT ANY TIME. Chamberlain Contractors is scheduled to begin work in the Clubhouse Parking Lots at 7:30 a.m. on the dates listed below. - Friday, August 25 – Replace concrete curbing & repair stormwater drain inlet curbing
- Monday, August 28 – Asphalt milling, proof rolling, patching & Geotextile membrane fabric install
- Tuesday, August 29 - Repaving & striping
- Wednesday, August 30 – rain date
The parking lots will remain closed until Saturday, September 2 to allow the asphalt to cure properly. The dates above are subject to changes pending weather conditions.
