SPEAKER: Queen Anne’s County (QAC) Dept. of Emergency Services

Did you know drowning is the single leading cause of death for children ages 1 – 4? What else do you need to know to keep your family and yourself safe? This basic pool safety course, taught by the QAC Department of Emergency Services, aims to provide residents with essential knowledge and skills to ensure the safety of individuals in and around swimming pools. By the end of the presentation, attendees will understand the potential risks associated with pools and acquire the necessary tools to prevent accidents and respond effectively in emergency situations.
