Please note that in the event of Severe Weather, conditions to include snowfall will be monitored frequently and consistently by the General Manager and Board Liaison to the Operations Committee Karen Kram. This is a reminder that the contractor is generally dispatched when snowfall exceeds 3 inches or with Board approval. When snow removal efforts are initiated, the contractor will start at the Clubhouse and then service the driveway and the walkway leading from your front door to the end of the driveway. In most cases, the removal will not begin until after the snow has stopped except in blizzard like conditions. The Town of Centreville is responsible for clearing all streets within the community. The sidewalks are not included in the current snow removal contract.
The Board is tasked with the financial health of the HOA, which must be taken into consideration when making a decision regarding snow removal efforts. Please note that Management, the Board and the snow removal contractor works diligently to service all homes as safely and efficiently as possible.
If you feel snow removal is necessary on your property for snowfall less than 3 inches, you must facilitate the removal efforts independently.
An e-blast will be sent to update residents regarding any snow removal efforts and Management Office closures in the event of severe weather. Please refrain from using the Clubhouse when conditions are hazardous until the contractor has had the opportunity to service the sidewalks and parking lot.
