Symphony Village Residents:

ALL areas of the Clubhouse will be closed effective 11:00 p.m. today, Monday, March 16, 2020 due to health concerns surrounding the COVID-19 Coronavirus. Additional information and updates will be provided as soon as they become available.

Symphony Village staff will telecommute during normal working hours as applicable. If you have questions or concerns, please email gm@PROTECTED or receptionist@PROTECTED. Calls to the Clubhouse at 410-758-8500 will be routed to Symphony Village Staff by within normal working hours (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday).

Management will continue to monitor the outbreak of the COVID-19 coronavirus and coordinate with the Board of Directors to take additional action as necessary. This is a reminder that as information is changing almost daily, the links below should be checked frequently for the most up to date information.

The best way to prevent the spread of illnesses, such as COVID-19, seasonal flu, and other respiratory viruses and germs, is to practice everyday preventive actions. The everyday precautions recommended on the CDC webpage are listed below:

• Avoid close contact with people who are sick
• Take everyday preventive actions
  • Clean your hands often
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing, or having been in a public place.
  • If soap and water are not available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
  • To the extent possible, avoid touching high-touch surfaces in public places – elevator buttons, door handles, handrails, handshaking with people, etc. Use a tissue or your sleeve to cover your hand or finger if you must touch something.
  • Wash your hands after touching surfaces in public places.
  • Avoid touching your face, nose, eyes, etc.
  • Clean and disinfect your home to remove germs: practice routine cleaning of frequently touched surfaces (for example: tables, doorknobs, light switches, handles, desks, toilets, faucets, sinks & cell phones)
  • Avoid crowds, especially in poorly ventilated spaces. Your risk of exposure to respiratory viruses like COVID-19 may increase in crowded, closed-in settings with little air circulation if there are people in the crowd who are sick.
  • Avoid all non-essential travel including plane trips, and especially avoid embarking on cruise ships.
