Greetings Symphony Village Residents,
During the weekly routine maintenance visit today, Anchor Aquatics preformed a series of routine chemical tests beyond the tests taken during the daily monitoring. The weekly visits and the additional testing are completed per the pool maintenance contract and QAC code. During the testing the pool monitoring contractor, Anchor Aquatics, found that the levels of combined chlorine were once again above the levels allowed per code. The pool water sample was tested by Anchor Aquatics multiple times to confirm the presence of the high levels.
Per the instruction of pool maintenance contractor and in order to comply with code the pool is closed until further notice. A notice will be sent as soon as additional information becomes available.
After speaking with outside resources and specialists in an attempt to determine the reason the combine chlorine level increased again, the pool maintenance contractor believes the levels may be related to the HVAC system in the pool area. Please note that the HVAC servicing the pool area is original and was NOT one of the systems replaced in 2019. The HVAC contractor and the pool maintenance contractor will be onsite to investigate on Monday, January 6th.
Again, a notice will be sent as soon as additional information becomes available.
Thank you for your continued patience,
Symphony Village HOA Management
