Symphony Village Residents:

At the March 29, 2019 Board of Directors meeting the Board voted to approve updates to the Symphony Village Rules and Regulations and Terms of Reference document as noted below.

The bar section of the Symphony Village Rules and Regulations now reads as follows:

BAR

(Adopted and Approved by the Board of Directors March 29, 2019)

  1. Only residents 21 years of age or older are allowed to be behind the bar. Family and guests are not allowed behind the bar at any time.

  1. No alcoholic beverages will ever be served to anyone under the age of 21.

  1. Alcoholic beverages (liquor bottles, wine, etc.) are not to be left or stored on the bar top or any bar counters. All alcohol must be stored in a bar cabinet or cooler except during a Symphony Village sponsored social event.

  1. Alcoholic beverages are to be consumed in the immediate area of the Clubhouse, including the pool and pavilion areas. At no time are beverages to be taken from the immediate Clubhouse area.

  1. Beverages available from the bar are not to be sold, donations only.

  1. The bar and immediate area is never included in the rental of any spaces of the Clubhouse.

  1. Only snack foods i.e.: chips, pretzels, peanuts, etc. may be placed on the bar. If other food is to be served, a table should be placed near the bar to accommodate the food.

  1. Residents entering the bar area from the pool should wear an appropriate cover-up.

The following statement regarding inactive committee member status has been added to the Terms of Reference document:

If a committee member will be away from Symphony Village or physically unable to attend meetings for an extended period of time, they can request to be added to the inactive committee membership list. This allows the committee to adjust their quorum. Once the member returns to active status the quorum returns to the original number necessary to hold a vote.

The updated documents are available on the “Official Documents” page of the community website.
