Greetings Symphony Village Residents,

The Board, in consultation with the general manager, continues to monitor the COVID-19 coronavirus situation closely. The Board and Management strive to provide the community with factual and current information as it becomes available. You will find current information as it relates the Governor Hogan’s May 6, 2020 press release and executive order amendments along with additional COVID-19 resources below. An update from Symphony Village HOA Management as it relates to staff functions and other community matters is forthcoming.

As you know, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Governor Hogan issued a stay-at-home order, which remains in effect. That stay-at-home order allowed for limited outdoor exercise.

Effective as of 7:00 a.m. today, Thursday, May 7, 2020 permitted outdoor activities have been expended to include outdoor exercise activities, such as walking, hiking, running, biking, or individual and small group sports such as golfing, tennis, and similar activities, among others. All of which must be done in compliance with paragraph III of the Governors Executive Order (click here,) applicable Secretary’s Directives, Health Officer Directives, and social distancing guidance published by CDC and MDH.

As a result of the executive order amendment made by Governor Hogan the Symphony Village tennis courts, pickleball courts, bocce ball courts, putting green and horseshoe pits are open for use effective immediately. Prior to using the tennis courts, please review and follow the guidance from the United States Tennis Association by clicking here
. When using any of the open outdoor amenities, please follow the recommended practices as it relates to sanitation of equipment, practice social distancing and stay up to date on the best practices to help protect yourself, your neighbors and all others.

As published on https://coronavirus.maryland.gov/  a total of sixty-eight (68) persons have tested positive for COVID-19 in Queen Anne’s County. As of today, Thursday, May 7, 2020, fourteen (14) people have tested positive in zip code 21617.

As we all continue to navigate the changes that the COVID-19 pandemic brings, every aspect of our lives continues to be affected. This certainly is a challenging time for all Marylanders. Please continue to take the precautions recommended by the authorities.
