Greetings Symphony Village Residents,

The Board of Directors voted electronically to suspend the review of all non-emergency exterior modification requests until normal operations resume. Emergency exterior modifications will be reviewed by the Board for the time being. Examples of emergency exterior modifications include, but are not limited to, roof or window replacement due to a leak. This decision was made with input from the Covenants Committee to help ensure the health and welfare of Symphony Village residents and staff amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

As you may be aware, the authorities have recommended any non-essential projects be suspended until further notice. Projects that may be considered non-essential include, but are not limited to, painting, landscape redesign, hardscape installation, etc. Please refer to the advice from the CDC, the local health department and the World Health Organization for additional information as to safety guidelines surrounding non-essential services.

Non-emergency/non-essential exterior modification forms (EMFs) submitted after the March 12, 2020 Covenants Committee meeting will be held until safety restrictions and recommendations are lifted and the committee is able to hold their regularly scheduled meeting. Notice will be sent as soon as additional information becomes available.

Please know Management, working in conjunction with the Covenants Committee, will continue to assist residents who are preparing non-emergency EMFs for future submission. Assistance is available by phone and email only as there will be no site visits at this time. Placing a temporary hold on the acceptance of new EMFs is a decision made in consideration for the overall health of Symphony Village residents and for our Covenants Committee Members.
 

Emergency exterior modifications requiring review should be submitted to the Management Office either by postal mail or electronically by email. Upon receipt of an emergency exterior modification form, Management will forward the request directly to the Board for prompt review and consideration. A response letter will be sent by Management electronically.
